isn't it one of life's blessings

okay, this is a super quick update because i need to organise stuff for my uni res this afternoon.

man, i don't even know what to put!

the past 2 days have been an interesting mix of happiness, confusion, loneliness...i am so overwhelmed right now with how much there is to organise for uni. at the moment it is all pretty...random. haven't started any classes yet, but i do have a big test tomorrow to check my french level out. so scared. maybe you'll all be seeing me sooner than you think if i fail! as wonderful as seeing people would be, i really hope to do well. aaaargh.

ummmm South Korea was great. to go from the Hyatt at Incheon to the Auberge in Lyon...well I felt the difference that's for sure. Haven't met many homies yet...yesterday I met a bunch of girls from Australia, from Melb Uni in fact...interesting considering anytime i needed help with my application at Melbourne the admin/staff were always so vague about it. nevertheless the girls are nice, but a lot more organised with everything than me. I felt that I had been doing quite well until I compared myself with them. But then again they are a group of people and I only have me so... today I met some really great Canadian people, which lifted my spirits. Last night my body decided it wanted to have attack of the voms so I felt really ill and sad today. But spending time and having a few laughs with these two, Emilie and Aleksei, has been great.

I will write something more substantial soon, and hopefully put up some photos. No time to proof read so here's hoping i make sense.
